I got a letter today stating my front yard was in the need of fertilizer. It apparently is not ‘green’ enough to meet the aesthetic taste of the HOA bureaucrats. In truth I turned off watering because we are not getting much rain and I don’t see the point of having a green lawn while twenty feet away the entire marsh is brown as the hills surrounding the bay.
What kind of sick plastic superficial world to people live in when you are required to pervert nature into a forced beauty that belies the rest of the nature it is surrounded by? Should I fight this one?
Yes! Fight! Fight! Fight! Go get ’em Rich.
Thanks for reminding me that I need to water my lawn… It’s supposed to rain, so I figure now is a good time to turn the sprinklers on for a few hours.
Don’t you just love HOA? I am just glad we don’t have that. But I did feed the grass yesterday. Our grass could be as brown as dirt and it wouldn’t matter, only to me. Better start fertilizing Rich.
John always said we should not look for a property tied to an HOA. Surely sounds like imposed meddling with one’s own business…
